League of Legends organization 100 Thieves has parted ways with their starting support, William "Stunt" Chen. Just three weeks into the Summer Split, 100 Thieves have struggled massively. The team has posted a 1-5 record, good for second to last place in the League of Legends Championship Series.

With their meager start to the split, 100 Thieves general manager Christopher "PapaSmithy" Smith has not been shy to change. Along with the release of Stunt, the team has benched LCS veteran William "Meteos" Hartman in favor of Juan "Contractz" Arturo Garcia. Meteos vented his frustration with a series of tweets before promptly deleting all of them shortly after.

The news of Stunt's release came directly from the support himself, via a heartfelt TwitLonger. Admitting that he was "expecting it," the 24-year-old couldn't help but regret that he wasn't able to have redemption while with 100 Thieves.

The man stepping into support duties for 100 Thieves will be Philippe "Poome" Lavoie-Giguere. At 20-years-old, Poome will make his LCS debut against Golden Guardians during Week 4.

It's no secret just how many struggles 100 Thieves is currently going through. With the heated tension between Meteos and the coaching staff, Stunt leaving, Poome and Contractz joining and the team's abysmal 1-5 record, 100 Thieves are not having the start to the Summer Split they envisioned.

In the midst of all this commotion, the team is still trying to execute on PapaSmithy's grand vision of creating a top tier League of Legends organization. The team is focused on developing mid laner Tommy "Ryoma " Lee while the clock continues to tick on superstar top laner Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho.

As for Stunt, the support mentioned that he'll be taking time to de-stress, maybe going back to streaming for a while. But he made it clear that "competing is still [his] passion," and given the opportunity, he'd want to play again for another organization. Contractz and Poome will make their 100 Thieves debuts this Friday, July 3rd against Golden Guardians and will play again Saturday against Dignitas. The matches can be streamed live on Twitch and Youtube.
