Destiny 2's Conqueror title is one of the hardest titles to earn. Completing six unique Grandmaster Nightfalls, some of which have to be with different subclasses, is a massive task. Gilding this title is slightly easier, but that isn't saying much.

Gilding the Conqueror title in Season of the Chosen will require Guardians to complete all six Grandmaster Nightfalls available this season. Two of these Nightfalls are from the original Destiny, now packed with over 200 enemies that can easily one-shot you. Those who want to prepare for this challenge should do so now before the season's over. Here is a complete guide on gilding the Conqueror title in Destiny 2's Season of the Chosen.

Earn The Conqueror Title

Destiny 2 Champion

As with every title gild, you must first earn the Conqueror title itself before you can attempt to gild it. Unlike most titles, Conqueror's objectives are rather straightforward and few in number:

  1. Lightbearer: Obtain 150,000 score in a Nightfall.
  2. Breaker of Champions: Defeat 100 Champions in Nightfalls.
  3. Conqueror's Discipline: Complete Grandmaster Nightfalls with each subclass type (Arc, Solar, Void, and Stasis)
  4. Total Conquest: Complete six different Grandmaster Nightfalls.

The last two objectives are rather time-consuming, requiring most of a season to complete. Once you've obtained Conqueror, you will unlock a new set of Triumphs that will gild the Conqueror title. Gilded Triumph progress is not retroactive, so earning the default Conqueror title in Season of the Chosen won't make gilding it any easier. Prepare to grind out at least a dozen Grandmaster Nightfalls.

To gild the Conqueror title, you must complete every Grandmaster Nightfall tied to Season of the Chosen. There are six in total that must be completed. If you miss a certain GM Nightfall in a given week, the end of the season will unlock all six Nightfalls at once so you can catch up.

Completing the GM Nightfall will complete the associated Triumph; the ranking you get at the end of the run doesn't matter.

Grandmaster Nightfall Tips

Destiny 2 Sentinel Shield

Most GM Nightfalls play out similarly to each other. Typically, more mechanically complex Nightfalls such as The Corrupted are exponentially harder than simpler strikes. This season, most of the Nightfalls on offer are rather straightforward. Both The Devils' Lair and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. Nightfalls are packed with enemies, making the likes of Code of the Commander Titans and Warmind Cells more important than normal. For general GM Nightfall tips, we have a guide you can read here.

More specific tips will be given when we cover each Grandmaster Nightfall. This article will be updated to include these GM guides when they're finished.
