The war between the Anarchs and the Camarilla is about to heat up once more, as the fourth season of L. A. By Night is due to return on January 31.

L. A. By Night is a show where the cast plays an ongoing game of Vampire: The MasqueradeThe Storyteller of L. A. By Night is Jason Carl, the current brand marketing manager for the World of Darkness game, and the events of his game are considered to be canon with the lore of Vampire: The Masquerade going forward. The story focuses on a group of Anarchs in Los Angeles who must contend with the rise of a new Camarilla Prince in the city.

The story of L. A. By Night is due to continue soon, as Paradox Interactive has announced that the fourth season of the series will begin on January 31 at 8 pm Pacific Time. The first episode will include the four regular cast members, along with Eva and X, as the fragile ceasefire between the Anarchs and the Camarilla is put to the test. The popularity of shows like Critical Role has helped to bring tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons to the masses, as it's now easy for people to see how RPGs work without the difficulties of gathering and maintaining a group. L. A. By Night does the same thing for Vampire: The Masquerade which can be even harder to explain than something like Dungeons & Dragons or Pathfinder.

The impending release of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has fans of the series excited to return to the World of Darkness, but L. A. By Night offers fans the chance to do so right now and in the same setting as the original game. L. A. By Night gives fans a chance to see what happened to the beloved characters from the original Bloodlines in the years following Prince LaCroix's downfall, as well as introducing them to the new World of Darkness that exists today.
