The Roblox Catalog is where you go to outfit your avatar with the coolest items including things like clothing, faces, and emotes, but many are curious as to what is the most expensive item within it. Many things are relatively affordable as their prices rest under 100 Robux, but others are only for the most frivolous players. It isn't uncommon for player-made creations to be expensive, but the prices of some of the items made by Roblox may surprise you.
You might wonder why anyone would pay more than a few dollars for an item, but diehard fans want only the best for their avatar. While some of the prices may seem a bit steep, it is worth it to be one of the only players in Roblox to possess these expensive catalog items!
Updated July 19, 2021 by Rebecca O’Neill: Roblox is a diverse platform that features player-made experiences, and it has continued to expand. However, one of its lesser-known aspects is its sale of avatar items in their Catalog. While some were expensive items were already included, this list is being expanded even further with more items.
It should be noted that limited and limited unique items have been left out of it, and this strictly showcases the most expensive basic items that your Robux can buy. The Catalog can be a luxurious thing to browse, and these items will show you why.
15 Meanie Face (5,000 Robux/$62.50)
While the Meanie face is the most affordable item on this list, it is still way too expensive for most players. However, it does have over 62,000 likes in the Catalog, despite its 5,000 Robux price tag, which is equal to $62.50.
I guess if you enjoy looking like a caveman with a single tooth jutting out of your mouth, then you might be intrigued. Otherwise, there are so many better options out there if you are interested in changing your character’s face.
14 Royal Crown (7,000 Robux/$87.50)
The Royal Crown originally belonged to old King Coal, until someone apparently stole it from him. That player could be you if you decide to pay 7,000 Robux or $87.50 to Roblox for this item.
While it will transform you into the King or Queen you were always meant to be, the cost of the item might drive you away.
13 Cousin Tentacles (7,000 Robux/$87.50)
Those who dream of living under the sea might be interested in Cousin Tentacles until they take a closer look at the price. This hat will run you 7,000 Robux, or about $87.50, which is way too much for most players, but you might spot it in the games that have the most players.
Yes, its orange color is unique and it is cheaper than a similar hat, but that still doesn’t justify this purchase.
12 Extreme Headphones (7,500 Robux/$93.75)
The Extreme Headphones will give you a punk-rock vibe with spikes lining the outside of them, and a chain that will sit atop your character’s head. While it is great for fans of heavy metal, it will not do any favors for your wallet.
This item costs 7,500 Robux, which equates to $93.75 and leaves many in shock at the price. You might want to look at cheaper versions that are player-created if you like the style, but are not a fan of its high cost.
11 Sparkle Time Bandana (8,000 Robux/$100)
The Sparkle Time Bandana comes in three different colors, which are red, green, and blue. However, each one will run you 8,000 Robux, and that is equal to about $100.
While this is chump change to some, others can’t imagine dropping this much cash on something that their avatar wears around their neck. It does have its own charm in its twisted color scheme, which is why some choose to splurge on this expensive item.
10 Horns Of The Creature (8,000 Robux/$100)
The Horns of the Creature costs 8,000 Robux in the catalog, which converts to $100 for this single item. It was added back in 2018 and has been favorited over 12,000 times which goes to show its popularity among players.
It used to be a limited unique item, which would have been available for trading, but this tag was removed after players found they could obtain it for free by using an API script.
9 Mr. Tentacles (9,090 Robux/$113.63)
Mr. Tentacles is a hat that looks like a yellow squid and he has been in the catalog since 2009. It has been discounted a few times over the years, but right now it stands at 9,090 Robux, or $113.63.
Over 21,000 players have favorited this item and you can bet that quite a few players have bought this over the years, but you probably shouldn't wear it while playing some of the best shooters.
8 Poor Man (10,000 Robux/$125)
Poor Man is a face that is a play on its own high price as the description literally says this is what you would look like if you dropped this much Robux on it. It costs 10,000 Robux, which converts to $125, and that's a lot of money to spend on a below-average face.
However, the description is a great marketing tactic by Roblox as they trick you into thinking that you want it.
7 Bluesteel Swordpack (10,000 Robux/$125)
If you don't have a problem dropping 10,000 Robux, or $125, then you should consider buying the Bluesteel Swordpack. It is an epic back accessory that will have other players quivering in fear of your bank account.
This item was first added in 2019 and its coloring is what makes it so desirable to players. It has been favorited over 7,000 times and is the perfect thing to wear on your back when playing the best combat games.
6 Glorious Eagle Wings (10,000 Robux/$125)
The Glorious Eagle Wings have been in the catalog since 2017, and they will cost you 10,000 Robux, which converts to $125. You will fly through your games with this back accessory and its design is pretty spectacular.
It might not have as many favorites as some other high-end items, but it should, as it is the best accessory to take along into any adventure game.
5 Sir Rich McMoneyston, III (10,001 Robux/$125.01)
This face was made for the rich as not only is it called Sir Rich McMoneyston, III, but it will run you 10,001 Robux, or $125.01.It has been in the catalog since 2009 and its monocle instead of an eye is what makes it worth the purchase.
This face targets older players who love horror games as they want to give off the vibe that they can handle anything in this virtual world.
4 Sir Rich McMoneyston, III Disguise (11,111 Robux/$$138.89)
The Sir Rich McMoneyston, III Disguise is a hat accessory that is a bit more expensive than the face at 11,111 Robux, or $138.89. It has been in the catalog since 2009 and it has been favorited over 11,000 times.
You will look like the picture of sophistication with this hat and it is something you will want to show off when playing with your friends. It won't disappoint especially since you will be one of the few players who would actually drop this much money on a Catalog item.
3 Korblox Deathspeaker (17,000 Robux/$212.50)
If you pay 17,000 Robux, or $212.50 then you will be rewarded with the Korblox Deathspeaker bundle. Players love it because of its 'floating' legs, but the price holds them back from making this purchase.
It has been favorited over 403,000 times which goes to show just how many players wish they had this blue monstrosity for their avatar.
2 Summer Valk (25,000 Robux/$312.50)
The Summer Valk is a hat accessory and it will run you 25,000 Robux, which when converted comes out to be $312.50, so you might want to find a way to get some more Robux. It was just added in 2019 and some have made this purchase despite its steep price.
You may be tempted to buy it if you have the cash, but you should also consider what better things you could be spending your Robux on instead.
1 Violet Valkyrie (50,000 Robux/$625)
The most expensive item in the Roblox Catalog is the Violet Valkyrie, and it is a hat accessory. This item will cost you 50,000 Robux, which converts to $625. This isn't something most people would consider to be extremely affordable which is why only those who can afford the best paid access games usually buy it.
Yes, it is pretty cool with its bright purple coloring and medieval look, but most probably wouldn't say this is an item at the top of their purchase list. It was added back in 2019 and has remained the most expensive item for purchase since its release.
If this was too bad for HBO, I dread to think what it was like.
