As social distancing keeps people in their homes to limit the spread of Covid-19, more and more video game developers are helping to relieve the situation by offering their games at a steep discount. Veteran video game developer Blue Isle Studios is the most recent to help out in this way and has announced the Blue Isle Studio’s Game Pack, a catalogue bundle of their Steam games, will be available for $1.95, a staggering 97% discount, which is the lowest price allowed by Steam.

The bundle includes Slender: The Arrival, Citadel: Forged With Fire, and Valley, which will be on sale until March 27. The three games are all great on their own, and together players are bound to have more than enough to keep them busy while they remain at home. All three games have a Very Positive review rating and there is sure to be something for every type of player.

Slender: The Arrival, is the official video game adaption of Slender Man. The game offers a terrifying experience that pushes players to the brink and is sure to give everyone a good scare. Players can expect a robust narrative experience, at least while they remain alive.

Valley is a first-person adventure where characters leverage the awesome power of a recently discovered L.E.A.F. suit (Leap Effortlessly through Air Functionality), which allows them to run and jump through beautiful forests, dangerous ruins and vast environments. The game also features a fascinating relationship between the environment and the player. The more the player dies in game, the more the environment decays and suffers as well.

Citadel: Forged With Fire is the largest of all the games in terms of scope and what players can do. This massive online sandbox RPG contains elements of magic, spellcasting and inter-kingdom conflict. The overall objective for players is to create a name for themselves and achieve notoriety and power among the land’s ruling houses.

Blue Isle Studios released a statement with their discounted bundle, speaking to the current global climate with the spread of Covid-19. “Each day, more people are being confined to their homes, including our team. We are grateful to the community for all they have given to us and wanted to offer everyone something fun to do to take their mind off the news for a bit,” said Alex Tintor, managing director of Blue Isle Studios. “Video games are providing solace and socialization to many of us on the team, and we hope that this massive discount will bring some fun to those stuck at home.”

At such a low price point, it is hard to go wrong. Even if only one of the three games look appealing to a buyer, they are still getting a great deal. If none of these games look appealing, the next best option is to head over to GOG, where the current Spring Sale is on until March 30.
